1. Planning Phase

First we connect with your team to analyse the pros and cons of the existing website and plan the next steps. This phase includes:

  • Reviewing search competition landscape and compiling effective keywords for search-engine optimisation (SEO)

2. Design Phase

Once we've both finalised your website content and have a good idea of your website goals and references for inspiration, we'll then begin developing mockups for your site. This phase will involve:

  • Developing wireframe layouts for both desktop and mobile
  • Creating high fidelity designs to show you exactly what the site will look like with your content
  • Design logic testing to ensure sound functionality logic prior to development
  • Design tweaks based on any feedback
  • Design approval

3. Development Phase

Once we are all on the same page, the rebuild begins. This part includes:

  • New home and interior pages
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript compliance
  • Content Management System (CMS) creation / update
  • CMS configuration
  • Migrating existing content and uploading new content to the site
  • Optimisation for mobile
  • Development Approval

4. Website Testing, SEO Implementation and Beta Phase

Now that the nuts and bolts of your new website have been created, it’s time to see it in action. This phase includes:

  • Quality assurance and user experience testing accross multiple devices and browsers
  • Analytics setup, through Google or others, to capture site user data
  • On-site SEO optimisation tasks such as page title, image, meta tag, url and content optimisation
  • Technical SEO tasks such as implementing caching, 301 redirects, Google Search Console setup and sitemap submission for better crawling 
  • Setup of keyword tracking, competitor and organic search reports
  • Make any nesessary adjustments

5. Launch Phase

We’re almost there. The launch phase is the most exciting moment of the website redesign! This phase includes: 

  • New site host setup
  • Domain Name System (DNS) transfer
  • Ensuring all redirects are in place to retain your valuable link profile for SEO
  • Going live!!
